Fredrik Eklund and Derek Kaplan live a happy life together filled with love, adventure, high end real estate, and soon: parenthood! The Million Dollar Listing New York star loves to share photos on instagram – particularly his romantic travels with his husband Derek, but some people don’t like Fredrik’s PDA-lite photos or his lavish spending! 

Fredrik defended himself against haters who complained about photos with too much Derek Loves Fredrik and photos with Fredrik Loves Money! Fredrik echoed several other reality stars who have tired of the negative comments. “Dear hater, BYE BYE!” retaliated Fredrik. “I’m glad you are pushing the unfollow button right about now.”

“I’m all about love and positivity. Perhaps I’m ‘supposed’ to tolerate negativity, like ‘everyone else’, but I just won’t,” added Fredrik. “No. I don’t allow any negativity in my life, and refuse to see the world in that way. I don’t think anyone should.”

“Yes, I’m gay. You might hate it. But understand I’m gay and I’m really happy with it. So just get over it or move on,” Fredrik demanded. “I’m in love with another man and we’re going to be dads, and I’ll post as many photos of me and my HUSBAND kissing as I want. Yes, we are married and it’s legal. This week I’ve been called a faggot, that I’m going to hell, that I’m pathetic, all because of my love, and that’s not ok. Not ok at all.”

Fredrik is also tired of people haranguing him about corrupt Manhattan real estate destroying the character of the city, or his spending habits, which yes, he agrees are lavish. But, he earned it! “Yes, I sell expensive real estate. Get over it. It’s not my fault New York is expensive, nor that artists are pushed out of Manhattan, or that you can’t afford what you want to buy. No one ever gave me a dollar, I worked for all that I have, and have sacrificed more than you’ll ever know to get here, geographically and personally, to even be able to write this very sentence. If you knew me (or asked) I’m obsessed with history and keeping the integrity of old New York, but while moving it forward. New & old together. This is what I do for a living, I’m proud of it, and I’m just getting started.” 

Fredrik will not be changing what he posts, however, and will continue to share with “the amazing and loving people who make this world better. Not the bitter and jealous naysayers hiding behind the keyboard spending your energy trying to pull other people down. Because today is the day I start over, lighter and stronger. Without you! But WITH the real and and happy people. Thank you. #LiveAndLetLive”

Instead, it turns out that Fredrik is no diva after all, and has not been demanding more money for the show. That definitely makes sense, especially considering how much money he does make from his job.

But does that mean Fredrik will return to the show next season? Maybe. You see, Fredrik would love to return for another season of Million Dollar Listing, but there is one small catch. Don’t worry, it’s nothing to panic about. In fact, it would give us all more a of glimpse into Fredrik’s own life and we’re betting you’ll be thrilled.  Can you guess what is it?

Diva? Please! We have plenty of them on Bravo already, and rest assured that Fredrik Eklund is not one of them. In fact, after all of the buzz about his demands for money and possibly getting fired from Million Dollar Listing, Fredrik’s manager told TMZ that it’s all bullcrap. As of this time, Eklund is all set to return to MDL for the new season.

IS MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK MOVING TO GREECE? RYAN SERHANT AND FREDRIK EKLUND ARE BOTH THERE!

But there is one small thing that could change that. Rumor has it that Fredrik is doing so well on Million Dollar Listing, that the head honchos are thinking about giving him his very own spin-off show! If that happens, Fredrik would definitely leave MDL, but at least we wouldn’t have to go through withdrawals. Of course, nothing is set in stone yet, but it definitely sounds promising.

So for now, we can all breathe easier knowing that Eklund is not going anywhere. It certainly would be cool to see Fredrik get his own show, don’t you think?

Last night was the 2015 Creative Emmy Awards in L.A. and although the men of Million Dollar Listing New York lost out in their nominated category, it was a perfect night for Fredrik Eklund. 

Fredrik, who attended the awards ceremony with his co-stars Luis D. Ortiz and Ryan Serhant, had a special evening and revealed the touching the story on Instagram tonight along with the photo above. 

Fredrik wrote, “I want to share a little story from last night. The highlight of the Emmys for me was actually this woman, Mariam. She is Luis’ mom. We took this photo right after the award show, and looked so deeply into each other’s eyes something connected on an unexpected level. Her hazel brown, almost yellow, and my light blue. I know, because we talked about it later at dinner. We sat there in this huge fancy event space with thousands of guests, just her and me for a while and talked about it all, Luis and his brother growing up, her life, New York, the show, and how proud she is of him. And how much she misses him.”

Fredrik continued, “She looked stunning in her black dress. She smiled and looked out over the guests. Then suddenly, I started crying. She didn’t see it first because I was wearing my new glasses. I thought of her and Derek’s mom and my mom. The fight they have gone through loving us, their now adult sons, all leaving them to pursue our dreams. In the hopes we will come back soon. In my case all the guilt I feel every single day for leaving Sweden and my mom behind. It wasn’t necessarily sad tears, perhaps tears of missing my own mom who didn’t sit proudly next to me at the Emmy Awards. Perhaps tears as a reminder to spend more time with all our moms because you can never take time back.” 

He concluded with, “Then Mariam looked at me and took my glasses off. And she said: now, let’s dance! And she pulled me to the dance floor and I swear to God we ripped it up in front of everyone. I mean, I have never danced like that, and I danced for all the lost time. When we left the floor, soaking of sweat, I squeezed her hand and thought, now she is my mother too.”

Million Dollar Listing New York star Fredrik Eklund shared the heartbreaking news this morning that their surrogate suffered a miscarriage.  Fredrik poured out his heart in a raw Instagram message. 

For weeks now our writer Melissa was convinced that Derek Kaplan and Fredrik were hinting that they were expecting twins, and it turns out she was right.  Fredrik shared that news in his post this morning when he opened up about their loss.   Fredrik wrote, “I’m sad to share we’ve had a failed pregnancy. I have cried so much that I can’t cry anymore. We were pregnant with twins but we’re not anymore.” 

He continued, “I chose to share this here, because I made this quest for Milla (and hopefully her sibling) public a long time ago. Every day I meet people congratulating me and Derek on the baby news, I get baby clothes sent to the office by kind strangers, and it seems that more people are invested in our little family than I could ever imagine. Our family is no different from yours… we just want to build our own unit of love in our own home. ”

On why he just couldn’t keep this news inside, “The last couple of days I couldn’t take it anymore, to upkeep this perception of happiness and success when I’ve been a total sad mess inside. I’ve felt like a failure and that I’ll never get to where I want to go: for me and Derek to finally become parents. I’ve heard these stories so many times before, about couples who’ve tried so hard and for so long but now I fully understand how difficult it can be.” 

He’s trying to focus on the big picture and leaning on his loved ones, “I try to zoom out and see the bigger picture. It’s hard most of the time. It gets a little better. It does. Derek is so kind, especially at night when I’ve been the saddest. We do have the dogs. We have our family and friends. They say it’s common in the first ten weeks. Mini kisses my salty tears.” 

FREDRIK BONDS WITH HIS CO-STAR’S MOM

Derek and Fredrik won’t let this put them off course to becoming parents.  “And we will try again. We have to. I’m not giving up. We’re just not going to give up! We have to go on and simply try again.  Yet, I wonder… where is she now? Is she already out there somewhere, above? Is she waiting for us like she’s always been waiting, just a little longer? Can she see all of this, but just doesn’t have a worldly form yet to reach out, give me a sign and make me stronger?” 

We’re so sorry for their loss and they’re in our thoughts.

Gigi Hadid is moving up and out! The supermodel recently sold her NYC apartment with the help of a fellow Bravolebrity, Fredrik Eklund. 

Gigi’s apartment was listed for $2.45 million, which means she earned half a million dollars on the sale. She purchased the Bowery Street apartment for $1.92 million just last year.

Fredrik revealed news of the deal on instagram, but declined to comment on the details. “Thank you @gigihadid and your mother @yolandahfoster for being Angels. Thank you for being so beautiful. Thank you for trusting me to be your broker two years in a row. And congrats on our latest sale together.” 

This is welcome good news for Fredrik, who has recently suffered a loss when the surrogate carrying his twin daughters miscarried. 

Gigi reportedly loved her apartment, however, a few months ago a determined stalker was able to access the building and almost made it to her door before security apprehended him. The man, suffering from delusions, had attempted to get into Gigi’s building at least 5 times! After the incident Gigi became anxious to sell reports the NY Post. Yikes – so scary. 

Gigi moved to NYC to pursue a career in modeling during Yolanda Foster‘s first season on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Gigi apparently also used Fredrik to purchase her Bowery Street 5th floor apartment. 

I wonder if we can expect to see Gigi and Yolanda making a cameo on the upcoming season of Million Dollar Listing New York? I also wonder if Yolanda will be demanding the ladies of RHOBH decorate tiny canvases for Gigi’s newest abode, or if she can just reuse the originals?

Gigi’s luxury pad was designed by Morris Adjmi in 2012 and features an all-white chef’s kitchen with Carrara marble, white plank oak floors, imported Italian Lualdi doors, and floor to ceiling windows, plus a master suite with walk-in closet and ensuite spa-style bathroom. You also get the essence of Joe Jonas‘ hotness and maybe a cat hair or two left behind from Taylor Swift. Oh – what am I saying, Yolanda has evaporated any hint of grime with organic lemons and hyaluronic air. 

Does the stalker come with purchase price? 

No word on where Gigi is headed next!

Fredrik Eklund and Josh Altman BFFs….who knew? While they may seem like an odd pair to be hanging out, you can clearly see from the photo above that they were doing just that. We know, many Million Dollar Listing viewers are not fans of Josh Altman, or just don’t like his attitude, but personally, I can tell you that he is a sweetheart in real life.

And it appears that Fredrik Eklund sees the softer side of Altman also. But what were these two doing together? Well, Altman is obviously visiting NYC while promoting his new book, It’s Your Move. His meeting with Fredrik was definitely not planned, but Eklund welcomed him with open arms and Fredrik had nothing but wonderful things to say about Altman recently.

However, Eklund isn’t just supporting Josh’s book, but the two are actually friends, believe it or not!

“Also know this, you come across as a tough guy on your show, but I know you differently. I’ve always seen the boy in you fighting your way through, up and up, and I know how hard it all can be. What’s nice about your book, is that you finally show the vulnerable side of you, including all the mistakes. God knows, I fail everyday, we all do, and finally you let us in on yours. Anyway, I’m going to walk home all the way, just me and the big moon and all my thoughts about life – just know I’m proud and happy about our friendship,” Eklund continued on Instagram.

Despite Fredrik’s  show of love and support for Altman, fans were not convinced. Many responded to Eklund’s post with harsh words for Altman. While I can’t speak for everyone, I can say that when I’ve spoken to Josh, he certainly does not come across the same way as he does on the show – clever editing perhaps?

Million Dollar Listing fans were bummed back in 2014, when Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu put their wedding on hold, when they couldn’t seem to agree on anything. But there was a reason for that – because they just had way too much to focus on, Altman dished recently.

And that is all behind the couple, who have been together for five years now (has it really been that long?), as they have decided to plan a wedding for next Spring. Hopefully, this time around things will go much smoother for Heather and Josh and they actually make it down the aisle.

Although they never made it down the aisle back in 2014, it looks like 2016 will be their year. At least, that is what Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu revealed recently. “Heather and I are in a great place right now. We’re happy and everything is good and we’ve kind of thrown out all the other noise. Last year we were trying to do everything at once and we couldn’t, even though we felt we could. And that was one of the reasons why we canceled the wedding,” Altman told US Weekly.

Looking back, Heather feels that everything the couple went through back then, helped them get to where they are now. “As difficult as that was, it did bring us closer. It made us kind of focus on what we wanted individually and then what we wanted as a couple for our future, which has ultimately made us realize that we do want the same things out of life and for one another,” Bilyeu added.

So, when will they be tying the knot? April 2, 2016 will be their big day, and according to the couple, this time around they are planning a small and intimate ceremony. With just 90 people on their guest list, Heather and Josh will be getting married in Aspen, CO. “There’s a rooftop deck that overlooks the mountain. You can be more effortless with the details when you have such beautiful surroundings,” Heather went on to dish.

But seriously, from the breathtaking views (um, of their travels and of the hot artist) to the inspirational stories, can you blame me?! This week, I was happy to see Derek’s son, Kai, again. Kai joined Fredrik and Derek on vacation in Greece in August, and ever since then, I’ve been hoping to see him again soon because he is seriously the cutest little boy.

Teaming up with his brother Sigge, the duo will be taking on their own show, called Buying and Selling. And we’re sure You can guess (at least based on the title, ha) that Eklund’s show will be focused on Fredrik’s expertise with buying and selling. I’m really emotional about it all because my brother will be by my side. You see, we were really close back home and now we don’t get to see each other that often. But he lands in NY tomorrow and we premiere Friday Nov 20th at noon. Oh My God… 29 million subscribers worldwide – yikes and high-kick all at once. I’m smiling so big now… Thanks to SiriusXM president Scott Greenstein and his team for believing in me.”

Obviously, Andy has no clue who I am and Bravo is just appeasing the masses with the shows we love to watch, but I can’t help but think it’s a bit tailored to suit my binge-viewing. The multi-million dollar property peddling, Big Apple realtors are returning to Bravo! The fifth season of the Emmy-nominated Million Dollar Listing: New York is back with a super-sized 90-minute premiere on Thursday, April 21st at 9 PM ET/PT. As someone who works in real estate, this series is especially near and dear to my heart. I could look at listings all day long. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that two years ago I got to tout the show with an interview with Ryan (it may seem like a shameless plug, but I was so incredibly starstruck and he was nothing but kind and humble…the antithesis of his reality persona) where he revealed he was in love with the woman who is now his fiance.

It’s official! Million Dollar Listing: LA stars Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu are married!

The couple tied the knot in Aspen, Colorado on Saturday and kept things very small and intimate.  Josh and Heather limited their guest list to just close friends and family and had only 80 guests in all for their big day.

Heather and Josh shared a few photos from the wedding with Us Weekly – see them here.

Heather shared, “Aspen Mountain is the backdrop of the ceremony. We really wanted to … have our decor work with that and showcase the mountain and play up the rustic Aspen vibes.”  The couple kept things cozy with hot apple cider and hot chocolate served to their guests and also passed around mac and cheese balls and truffle french fries. 

On Friday night in lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner, they opted for a Comedy-Central style roast with their close friends. Josh explained, “We like making fun of ourselves because we’re in the public eye.”  Sounds like it was a casual and fun weekend – and putting it off for a bit made it worth the wait!

The Million Dollar Lising: New York star has had a meteoric month which included moving to a new apartment, buying a country home, wrapping filming for season 5, and doing one of biggest deals of his career. Whew – and I thought I was busy … HA!

Somewhere… Ryan Serhant is bashing his head against a wall… (sarcasm) while Fredrik is high kicking all the way to the bank!

Last year Fredrik and his husband Derek Kaplan had several ups and downs and apparently decided it was time for new beginnings.

After traveling to London to spend time with Derek’s son Kai – and wrap filming on the upcoming season of MDLNY –  Fredrik and Derek returned to NY to complete the purchase of a home in Connecticut, begin moving to a new apartment in Manhattan, and still leave Fredrik time to sell a $32 million dollar pad, making it the biggest residential sale in NYC last week! Surely Bravo cameras started rolling again to capture that!!! (unless they have the same film crew as Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills which never manages to capture the good stuff!).

“Thank you London for one of the best weeks of my life! It was really true magic, and very emotional in the best of ways,” Fredrik shared about his trip to London. “But… and as expected… it was difficult (impossible) to say goodbye to little Kai growing up so quickly, too quickly… But he’s an angel and I’m just proud to be the extra papa.”

Fredrik added, “We wrapped filming #mdlny yesterday up here in the massive ferris-wheel called the ‘London Eye,’ and the rain finally and suddenly came out as I said goodbye to the crew to go back to NYC. You grow so fond of each other when you work THIS closely with such amazing and talented people. “

“I’m excited to share with you all that Derek and I have bought a house in Connecticut. Here she is! We are so happy!!!! We haven’t been able to sleep here in London in excitement. She’s really big, she’s a classic Georgian dream house with long vistas over the Litchfield hills and 8 acres of land, our land! She comes with a movie-cinema, a wine-cellar, a pond full of fish, an infinity pool and massive woods for the dogs to run in!”

MILLION DOLLAR LISTING RETURNS APRIL 21ST!

Despite needing a place to grab a green tea latte every 15 seconds, Fredrik is apparently a country boy at heart… “Ever since I was a little boy I’ve dreamed of this – and just 90 minutes from Manhattan. I actually got tears in my eyes the first time I entered the master suite… I can’t really describe it,” he added about his new home. “Anyway, it means so much to me as I have worked so hard, and I feel thankful and happy today for this dream come true. Tonight we will celebrate with our families. #NewBeginning” 

The other new beginning, is Fredrik and Derek will also be residing in a brand-new Manhattan apartment! Holy real estate porn, Batman. 

“It was fun! I can’t believe we’re moving out of here shortly and leaving this view behind. The memories, I’m so thankful, and I hope you have enjoyed the photos of the city skyline too… I’ll miss this northern view the most, of the Empire State Building, the green park below and the massive illuminated clock right outside,” revealed Fredrik. “The city and its seasons coming alive to me in an entirely new way. Tonight’s episode of Watch What Happens Live featured a pretty laid back Sonja Morgan and an always adorable Fredrik Eklund. Amy Schumer was originally scheduled to be there with Ramona, but Amy had a throat issue and is hoping to make an appearance next week, where Ramona is now scheduled.

They jump right in with questions. Is Sonja helping Luann de Lesseps plan her wedding? “We do spend a lot of time talking about it. She is over the moon excited.” Andy mentions that Sonja dated Lu’s guy, “That’s right, so I know both very well.” And she confirms that Ramona dated him, too. “It’s going to be very interesting, you’ll have to watch.”

Did Sonja know Jules before the show and what does she think of her calling the women elderly? “I guess when you’re as young as Jules you find us elderly, but she shouldn’t knock it til she gets to my age. I’m enjoying it.” She does admit that she’s known Jules for a while because Sonja (and Fredrik) is good friends with one of Jules’ husband’s friends.

A caller asks Fredrik if he’s going to get an invite to Ryan Serhant’s wedding. Fredrik said that he got a “maybe” from Ryan. He thinks their wedding is in July, so there’s time. Sonja chimed in to say that they should wait to decide until after the reunion tapes because things can change. “Look at me and Luann. I don’t know if I’ll be invited to her wedding either!”  Fredrik says that weddings are holy and he doesn’t want to disturb that and maybe it’s better if he doesn’t go.

What did Sonja think when she heard Ramona say she was avoiding her because of her actions with alcohol and men? Sonja laughs, “I don’t think Ramona should be talking about that because I’ve defending Ramona for almost 30 years for her behavior. And I’m certainly invited places where they’re always whispering ‘don’t tell Ramona because we didn’t invite her.'”

Would Fredrik and Derek pose for Playgirl together? Fredrik cracks up, “I did that already! I did that like 20 years ago. I had centerfolds.” Andy is surprised that he didn’t know this already and Fredrik tells him to Google it.

Fredrik is asked who he’d rather – Ryan or Luis. He gets flustered a bit but says that Luis would be his pick because he had a Puerto Rican boyfriend once.

A viewer asks Sonja if she voted in the NY primary yesterday and if she voted for Trump. “I’m not gonna tell you who I voted for but I did vote.”

Andy asks if Sonja ever lists her townhouse if she’d use Fredrik for an agent. He says that Sonja actually has contacted him already. She says she likes to know what’s what in the market right now. Andy asks if she’d list her townhouse for around $7 million? She screeches, “What?! I had it listed for $12 million before my reorganization and became a victim to the world.”

What’s her relationship status with Ramona? “Well, you know she is my BFF, we’ll always be close. She froze me out a little bit, so that gave me more time to be LuSonja.”

Andy says they got a lot of Tweets feeling like it’s Sonja and Luann versus the rest of the girls this season. “At first it did and you have to watch the show because I do wanna get connected with the girls again. Enough about my businesses.”

If you haven’t watched last night’s premiere of Million Dollar Listing New York yet, make sure you grab some tissues for the opening scenes. Fredrik Eklund and Derek Kaplan shared back in September that the surrogate carrying their twins had suffered a miscarriage and Fredrik made the courageous decision to talk about their loss on this season of the show.

He blogged about making this painful decision, “I’m known for my happy spirit and tough business manners. You know me as ‘the closer and the listing machine.’ I do deals, I negotiate, and I move mountains for my clients. My entire life, when I look back at it, has gone pretty much according to plan. Not all the time, perhaps, but for the most-part, yes. Of course, I’ve had my fair share of failures in business, I was single for years before meeting Derek, and I’ve felt a lot of guilt over the years for leaving my family behind in Sweden. I’m not perfect in any way, but I’ve never been really sad or down for long periods of time. Whenever there is a challenge, I go head-to-head with it until it is solved. When there is personal drama, I fix it or move past it. I like to take the higher road and lift myself up whenever possible. I’ve even written a book on the topic of finding yourself and sharing that self in an honest way with the world.”

Kids were always a hope for Fredrik, “So let me be honest here: Getting pregnant via a surrogate was part of the plan. I’ve always wanted children — always — as far as I can remember. Even as a child myself, I wanted a family of my own one day. Kids are everything to me; the little innocent angels light me up, perhaps because I’m such an overgrown kid myself. When filming MDLNY the previous four seasons, I didn’t keep our struggle to become parents a secret. I’ve always believed — actually known in my heart — that we were going to be fathers.”

He shares their journey to fatherhood and feeling like it was too good to be true, “Last summer, we had several positive pregnancy tests with our twins. We named them. We even bought them clothes and things…well, I did most of it. I was flying so high: I can honestly say those were the happiest weeks of my life. It gave the world such light — such a dimensionality — that everything felt purposeful and right. I felt right. This was my meaning, my time, my place. Our time! A little boy and a girl, him from Derek and her from me. How could something so precious and perfect actually finally be happening? It was too good to be true.”

Fredrik knew how common miscarriages can be, but it didn’t make the loss any easier to accept when it happened, “I guess the miscarriage in itself shouldn’t have been that surprising after all. I had heard how common it is, how people try again and again, and how difficult it can be. But, what really surprised me was how it hit me emotionally. It hit me so hard I couldn’t function. First, you get the phone call. Then, you freeze. You hear your heart beating in your ears. You lose balance. You sit down on a bed. Everything gets black. You call Derek. Then you cry together. You lose words, because words are empty and won’t do anything anyway. You want to scream. You get so angry. You think of them. You say their names. You think of where they went. You think of the life together that is lost. You open your eyes and they are not there.”

Fredrik reveals, “6’5″ tall men are not supposed to act like this. We are not supposed to cry and cry and cry. Cry at work, cry in the gym, cry on the streets — whenever, really. It could come completely unexpected and could happen at any time; the crying would wash over me. Derek took it so much better than I and explained that this was just part of the process; it really is part of becoming a parent, to be able to let go of the control, etc.”

He wasn’t able to do that just yet, “But I took it personally. I felt robbed of something so holy to me: our children. The miscarriage came like a sudden slap — perhaps it was because we had been challenged for so many years by not being able to make our own children biologically, or perhaps it was seeing my brother have three beautiful kids. I can’t explain it, but it shut me down completely.” Adding, “The lust for life — that insatiable hunger for more and better and BIGGER — was suddenly gone.”

He says right as he was dealing with their loss, it was time to start filming season 5. And then came the stories that he was ‘holding out’ because he was acting like a diva, which hurt him. “At that very same time, production started for season 5. First, I said I wasn’t even going to film. I couldn’t — I mean, who would want to watch this emotional wreck? Who would want to see someone cry like this? I knew if I sat down in that interview chair, I wouldn’t be able to keep it together. I even told Bravo and the producers to find someone to take my spot on the show. I had to be replaced. Then there was a nasty article in the gossip press that I had been fired for diva demands, which hurt me because I just couldn’t film at the time and couldn’t have been further from the truth. Everyone working on the show was supportive and gave me time, and after more crying and thinking, a little Fredrik-voice inside whispered: “Talk about it. Let it out. Don’t be afraid. People do care. Don’t hold back. It is common, yet not a lot of people talk about it. Perhaps you can help someone out there that have experienced something similar…”

He shares, “I did decide in the end to start and finish season 5, but only on one condition, which was a promise to myself: To be completely honest, wherever that would take me.”

“I struggle with it a lot this season, and I’m still broken. It’s better — it’s actually a lot better, because the brokenness kind of tapped into an unknown emotional cord or connected to a sensitive, deeper place within me that I didn’t even knew I had…and that is a good thing. I’ve also seen so much beauty come out of this. People I don’t know, people I thought I knew, people I know now for real – sharing their similar experience.”

Fredrik ends with, “I want to comment that this is after all a real estate show. People tune in for the most expensive real estate on the planet, and I acknowledge that. There will always be trolls online critiquing me for being open about this journey — two men trying to become fathers, but I don’t care. This is me and this is all of me. I sell real estate, but I’m also a person with a big open heart.”

Earlier today, Bravo announced the six new and fourteen returning shows that will fill its summer and fall schedules. Obviously, RHOBH is on the list for fall. It will be a while before the cast is set in stone and revealed; however, when a fan tweeted @ Andy Cohen that Lisa Rinna, Yolanda Foster, Erika Girardi, and Eileen Davidson must go, he replied, “No way!”

New York was in the house tonight on Watch What Happens Live.  The Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radzwill and Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant were Andy Cohen’s guests and the two dished on their co-stars and the drama on the current seasons of their shows. 

The first question from a viewer asks why Carole won’t accept Luann’s apology? “She didn’t apologize and this scene was eight months after she said lots of really nasty stuff, crazy misogynistic stuff.” Andy asks Carole if she said nasty stuff, too? “I didn’t. With these women you need evidence, I wish I had brought all of her Tweets and interviews. It’s one thing to say you don’t like my boyfriend or something but she was age-shaming, she was female-bashing. That kind of misogynistic bullshit. You don’t need to hear it from not only a woman, but someone you considered a friend.”

She reiterates that Luann never apologized but that she had moved on and told Luann that.

Andy plays a montage of Bethenny and Carole at Jules’ house and asks if she wants to defend herself. “No, neither of us really wanted to go to the brunch. We probably should’ve called and said we weren’t up for it. It was awkward and when we walked in there was a really strange energy in the whole house.”

Andy then plays a clip from Million Dollar Listing New York of Emelia telling Luis that she didn’t appreciate things he said about Ryan’s integrity.  Ryan says he’s happy Emelia stuck up for him, “There’s a lot to that scene. He’s instigating a lot but she’s very, very protective.”

A caller asks if Carole thinks Luann is jealous of her? “No, I don’t think so. I think she was just in a very unhappy place in her life and she lashed out and I was the target of that.”

A viewer asks Ryan what it says about Luis that he fired his whole team? Ryan laughs a bit sinister and says, “I think that Luis is very particular and he operates very much emotionally in the immediate moment whether that’s with me, his entire team, he makes quick decisions.”

A Twitter fan tells Carole that she may not remember the mean things she Tweeted about Luann but “we all do.” Carole says, “I’d like to see all the mean things. You know what I did, the fans got so enraged at what she was saying about me that they started Tweeting back and then I just retweeted some of that stuff.”

A caller asks Carole why Dorinda wants to stay with John.  “You’ll have to ask her, but you know, she met him at a time in her life when she felt she wasn’t having a good time and it was difficult and …she has not told me this but I assume he helped her in a hard time in her life. I think sometimes they are well suited for each other, honestly. I don’t get into their relationship. I didn’t like the things that he said about Bethenny and Ramona, but in terms of his relationship with Dorinda, she wants to be with him and she really loves him.”

Ryan was asked to name the most famous person he’s sold a house to, but he can’t answer because of an NDA he signed and the person is probably watching WWHL, but he said it was someone very cool.

Ryan Serhant is often seen dishing it out to his Million Dollar Listing New York co-stars Luis D. Ortiz and Fredrik Eklund, but in last week’s episode they were seen giving it right back..sort of. Ryan admits that he’s been mean to his co-stars, but he’s never lied about them the way they did about him. Ryan was accused of buying Instagram likes and he’s not too happy about it.

He shares, “Well this was an interesting episode.”  He was glad that we got to see his team in action and gives them a lot of credit for how hard they work.  “I was excited to watch the beginning of the 38 West 87th storyline, as it is one of my favorites, but then I saw the little coffee scene between Fredrik and Luis.”

He continues, “In five years of doing this show, I’ve never lied about either of my castmates. Have I said mean things? Yes. Have I handled myself poorly in some situations? Of course. Have I learned from those moments and tried to grow from them? 100%. But I have never resorted to petty lying to make myself feel better.”

Ryan denies the accusations that he’s paying for Instagram likes or is involved in any other type of social media fakery. “I have a decent social media presence for someone on television. I use it as a way to promote business, my favorite charities, and those I love. I also think of it as a visual diary. Emilia and I always talk about how crazy it would be if we could just go online and see what our parents were doing on a random day in the 70s. How mind-blowing would that be? Our kids will be able to do that, and that’s exciting for us as we prepare to get married and start a family.”

“But apparently, no matter what you do, there will be people who question your integrity, your intentions, and…the quality of your social media followers? I apologize if some of my followers have no friends (if you’re reading this and you’re one of them, please DM me and I will follow you back). For the record, I do not “buy likes”. That’s stupid, and I’m going to leave it at that. If I did buy likes, I would definitely buy millions of them so I could compete with Kylie Jenner. I remember every single dollar I’ve ever made, and that’s the last place I would ever spend my money.“

He has some advice for his castmates, “I would suggest that if you’re so upset about how well I’m doing, to maybe stop spending so much time in coffee shops in Brooklyn on a Tuesday afternoon talking about me.”

He jokes, “Oh and I just checked, my Mom has zero posts and five followers (my brothers and sisters) and she always “likes” my posts. She’s on retainer though. Now you know. So while my buddies talk about me behind my back about how I buy and sell followers, I will be busy buying and selling real estate – around them – in circles.”

So there you have it.

It’s so unsettling to hear about people being anti-Semitic in 2016. I figured society would already be past having such prejudicial thoughts, but that is sadly not the case. Unfortunately, Million Dollar Listing star Matt Altman is going through a tough time these days.

Not only has Matt been the victim of anti-Semitic sentiments, but he has also received death threats in conjunction with that. Even though Matt has filed a [temporary] restraining order, it is still a horrifying situation.

This is just a horrible situation for Matt. He must feel so shaken up and uncomfortable – to say the least. A man named Alex Khadavi, who is a well-known dermatologist in Los Angeles, is the one that Matt says has been harassing and threatening him, according to TMZ.

Matt says that he received death threats on the phone and in person – FOR YEARS – according to the restraining order document. Apparently this man has been making racist and homophobic threats via phone call for a long time and things took an even crazier turn when he showed up at a private real estate event.

He walked up to Matt and said that he “hated all Jews” and continued to threaten Matt’s life.

The restraining order says that Khadavi has to stay one hundred yards away from Matt, his girlfriend Johanna Sicat, Matt’s brother Josh Altman, and Josh’s wife Heather Bilyeu.

I just hope that the restraining order is enough to keep this psychopath away from Matt and his loved ones. 

UPDATE: A statement from Alex‘s rep: “These ridiculous allegations are completely false. Not only is Alex Jewish, he had a bar Mitzvah! Alex Khadavi is a very well respected business man and was an invited guest of the real estate reception in which he attended with his contractor, who is Jewish, and his interior decorator, who is gay. Khadavi has been a medical volunteer for the past 14 years at the USC county hospital and has lectured in over 22 countries to various individuals from all walks of life. He is currently out of the country lecturing on behalf of the PanAmerican Congress of Dermatology.”

“A restraining order has not been served,” adding, “It’s a temporary restraining order. The first one was thrown out because Altman didn’t show up (June 2nd). On the 10th, is when his lawyer re-filed. Khadavi has not been served.”

Today is an exciting day for Million Dollar Listing New York fans – not only does the season finale of Million Dollar Listing New York air tonight, but also, Ryan Serhant and Emilia Bechrakis were married in Greece today. Which I’m sure was a total coincidence.

Earlier this year, Ryan shared, “We’re doing it on an island, off an island, off an island. It’s going to be very, very pretty, and elaborate. It took us a year and a half to put it together. But like I told her after the proposal, ‘Listen, I’m only ever doing this once in my life. So we’re gonna do this once. It’s going to be awesome and you’re just gonna have to kill me because I can’t afford to do this ever again.’ Same thing for the wedding.”

Bravo was present for the wedding (of course!) so we’ll get to see it this fall on the Million Dollar Listing New York Ryan’s Wedding special.
